The National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (formerly the National Hemophilia Foundation/ NHF) improves the lives of people with bleeding disorders through education, research, and advocacy. The Red Tie Campaign is their annual campaign to raise awareness about bleeding disorders and fund critical advances in treatments.
In 2018, NHF sought to revamp the campaign. Together, we developed a strategy that focused on telling the story of their healthcare advocacy as a way to bring in new supporters and galvanize existing audiences. I managed the campaign, which included updated branding, a campaign microsite, a petition, an email series, online advertising strategy, and a toolkit for NHF’s local chapters. Telling a cohesive, inspiring story across multiple channels made this Red Tie Campaign the most successful to date, exceeding the organization's set fundraising goal.
