Hi, I'm Brianna.
I use visual storytelling to help nonprofits better communicate the change they’re making in the world. I am passionate about creating opportunities for storytelling that informs, inspires, and incites change.
I have over a decade of experience providing creative direction and content strategy for projects such as brand identity work, fundraising and advocacy campaigns, websites, print materials, and environments. I have brought my passion for storytelling to issues such as alleviating hunger, ending gun violence, and finding cures for cancer, among others.
I live in Brooklyn, New York. When I'm not working, you can find me drawing outside, reading comics, and trying to find the best slice of pizza in the city.
My Approach
Design is a tool for communication. With visual storytelling, text and visuals work together to create a cohesive narrative.
My approach combines design, content, and strategy to help mission-driven teams break down complex issues into simple concepts, tell stories of impact, and mobilize their audiences.

My mission-driven focus
Nonprofits have no shortage of compelling stories to tell. Over my career, I’ve had the privilege of hearing so many inspiring stories – from villages celebrating the installation of a new well for drinking water to women challenging their governments’ sexist laws to cancer patients whose lives were saved by access to a new treatment.
While mission-driven teams have so many stories to share, they often need to be focused on doing the work – so telling the story of why the work matters can sometimes fall by the wayside. That’s where I can help.
I help groups that are tackling the world's biggest challenges solve their own challenges with storytelling. I work with teams who are asking questions like:
- How can we share stories of the communities we serve ethically, with dignity and sensitivity?
- How can we tell our stories in a way that’s visually impactful and on brand?
- How can we use storytelling to connect with prospective supporters and increase support for our cause?
- We tackle complex issues. How can we talk about our work in a way that’s welcoming to new supporters?
- Our content is important, but it’s dry. How can we make it more engaging and inspiring?
- How can we make sure people know how to find – and understand – key information?
If your team is asking questions like these, I'd love to hear from you – get in touch!
