The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is a pioneer in blood cancer research. Over the last 75 years, they have invested nearly $2 billion to fund medical breakthroughs in blood cancer treatment. As part of their commitment to research, LLS convenes a panel of medical experts annually to discuss the latest advances in blood cancer treatments.
The theme for the 2023 Research Gathering was The Frontier of Blood Cancer Cures: Genetic Engineering & Molecular Medicine. I translated that theme into a visual system that evoked abstracted patterns from genomic sequencing. This versatile system was applied across digital platforms, print collateral, and within the event space. Within the space, the visuals were expanded to highlight both LLS-backed researchers and blood cancer survivors.
